About
Alyssum (often referring to sweet alyssum) carries a tender honeyed aroma—nectarous, airy, and lightly powdery—with pollen-dusted white-floral facets, hints of fresh green, and a soft, musky warmth that evokes sunlit garden drifts of tiny blossoms. In perfumery it is rarely extracted directly and instead re-created as an accord, weaving honey and heliotrope/lilac nuances with muguet brightness and clean musks to add a delicate, springlike sweetness, soften sharp greens, and lend a luminous, weightless bloom to the heart.
