Buttercup

Though the flower is largely scentless in nature, the buttercup accord is rendered as a delicate, airy floral with green, dewy facets, soft pollen-honey hints, and a faintly bitter, sappy sting, evoking sunlit spring meadows and bright yellow petals. Used sparingly as a fresh top-to-heart lift, it is typically a fantasy blend of muguet-style florals, violet leaf, galbanum, and cut-grass nuances, sometimes brushed with hay or narcissus, to bring innocent, pastoral brightness to light florals, green chypres, and meadow-inspired compositions.
