Coffee Tree is a multifaceted note that evokes the whole Coffea plant: the dark, roasted bite of coffee beans with caramelized, smoky, and nutty tones, lifted by green, tea-like leaf nuances and the honeyed, jasmine-tinged whisper of its blossoms. In perfumery it is used mainly in the heart and base to impart gourmand warmth, café-like intimacy, and bittersweet depth, often paired with vanilla, tonka, cocoa, cardamom, patchouli, woods, tobacco, and resins, or contrasted with white florals and citrus for tension.
