Cookie is a gourmand accord that smells of warm, freshly baked dough—buttery and golden-brown sugar wrapped in creamy vanilla, with toasted almond, cocoa and a faint cinnamon or spice edge—evoking cozy kitchens, childhood comfort and edible warmth. In perfumery it’s used as a heart or base accord to add dessert-like character: blended with vanillin, ethyl maltol, tonka, benzoin, cocoa and milky or nutty facets to create chewy, cookie-like gourmands or to sweeten florals and woods without becoming overly cloying.
