Cyclopidene is a synthetic woody-terpenic note with dry, resinous conifer facets, combining pine and cedar nuances with a cool, slightly camphoraceous edge and a faint amber-mineral warmth; it evokes forest air, freshly planed wood, and clean modern woods. In perfumery it is typically used as a powerful diffusive booster and structural woody backbone, lifting citrus and aromatic tops, reinforcing cedar/patchouli/amber bases, and offering excellent tenacity and stability in both fine fragrance and functional products.
