Evergreen

About

Evergreen is a coniferous accord evoking pine forests: crisp, terpenic needle facets and cool camphor meet sappy, balsamic resin and dry, smoky woods, conjuring alpine air, winter light, and the clean snap of fresh branches. In perfumery it appears via pine, fir, spruce, cypress, or juniper oils for top-to-heart lift, anchored by fir balsam and conifer resinoids in the base; it brightens fougères, chypres, and woody-aromatics, pairs well with citrus, herbs, aldehydes, cedar, incense, and ambers, and must be dosed carefully to avoid medicinal sharpness.
