Gajumaru Banyan

Gajumaru (Banyan) reads as a green-woody, slightly milky accord with fig-like sweetness, warm resinous bark and a faint leathery or animalic undercurrent; it conjures humid tropical groves, mossy roots and the thick, sun-warmed hollows beneath banyan canopies. In perfumery it is used as a textured heart or base note to lend tropical depth and a milky-resinous character, often blended with fig/latex accords, woods (sandalwood, cedar, vetiver), resins (labdanum, frankincense) and bright citrus or herbal tops to bridge green, woody and oriental facets.
