Peppertree refers to the leafy-twiggy scent of Schinus (pink pepper) trees: a fresh peppery-green aroma with rosy-fruity sparkle, terpenic pine-citrus facets, and a dry balsamic-woody undertone that evokes sun-warmed resin and rustling foliage. In perfumery it’s used as a bright, airy spicy-green accent that bridges citrus top notes to woody and resinous bases, adding lift and dry diffusion; it pairs well with citrus, aromatics, florals, incense, and modern chypre or fougère structures, softer than black pepper yet greener and more resinous than pink pepper berries.
