This synthetic cooling molecule imparts an immediate, crisp mentholic-ice freshness with green-eucalyptus and watery facets, offering a cleaner, less medicinal chill than raw menthol. Employed mainly in top-note aquatic, aromatic-citrus and body-care blends, it lifts and sharpens citrus and herbal tones, prolongs perceived freshness, and produces a lingering coolness on the skin.
