About
Pink pepper is a bright, effervescent spice note with a rosy, citrusy top and a dry, warm peppery bite—lighter and more floral than black pepper, with sweet-woody and slightly resinous undertones that evoke crushed berries and a sun-warmed spice market. In perfumery it’s used primarily as a sparkling top note and accent to add immediacy and a modern piquant lift to florals, chypres, fougères and orientals, pairing especially well with citrus, rose, cedar, amber and vanilla to provide contrast, freshness and a subtly fruity spiciness through the dry-down.
