Pollen is a golden, powdery-sweet note with a honeyed warmth, dusty sunlit florality, and faintly waxy, animalic facets; it can suggest hay, mimosa, linden, and narcissus, evoking bees on warm blossoms and late-spring meadows. Perfumers use it to lend a naturalistic, honeyed-powder halo to floral hearts and warm bases, often built from beeswax or honey tones, phenylacetic “honey” nuances, hay/tonka accents, and pollenic florals, bridging bouquets with amber, woods, and soft musks in floral, chypre, and oriental styles.
