Reseda (mignonette) has a delicate green-floral scent with honeyed sweetness, leafy and hay-like facets and a soft, slightly musky almond undertone, evoking dewy cottage gardens and warm late-spring evenings. Perfumers use it as a middle-note modifier to add naturalistic green warmth and honeyed complexity—bridging florals, chypres and fougères and smoothing transitions between fresh leaves and woody or musky bases without overwhelming a composition.
