Thailand Oud is agarwood prized for its bright, approachable profile: sparkling citrus-green and tropical-fruity facets with cola-like fizz and minty camphor glide over honeyed, resinous heartwoods, finishing in smooth balsamic woods with gentle incense, soft leather, and only a restrained animalic undertone. It often evokes polished temple wood in humid air, rainforest resins, and sun-warmed teak. In perfumery it serves as a refined oud base note that adds depth without heavy barnyard, anchoring woody-amber, incense, and floral-oud compositions; it pairs especially well with rose, saffron, spices, tobacco, and citrus to amplify its luminosity.
